Trannyness

Actually, I didn't know exactly what I was going to write until I wrote that title - I'll explain later (as the good Doctor would say).

Not done much in the way of trannying (is that a real word, like what "prallock" is?) but I'm hoping to return from the closet soon. Still got a load of photos to be posted but had no real impetus to post them before - they are a little bit "unusual" (chain mail is not my usual form of dress).

Then it occurred to me. How many of us have worn extremely OTT garments - I'm not talking drag here, more a case of wearing outlandish costumes from films? Female military uniforms? Pantomime outfits (I was Snow White once)?

Just a question I thought of, before I post Joan of Arc.

By the way, with a little modification, wouldn't Ken Dodd's song, "Happiness" be a terrific tranny theme song with a minor modification...?

Trannyness, trannyness, the greatest gift that I possess
I thank the Lord I've been blessed
With more than my share of trannyness.....

There's a piccie of me on Flickr dressed as a saloon girl.

I tend to dress outrageously in drab too - pirate, fop, goth, 30's pulp hero...

I'm intrigued by your reference to chainmail.

wutydrI have a significant number of ethnic outfits, mostly from Asia, including kimonos, "Dragon Lady dresses from China and South East Asia, Cholis and wrap skirts from Afganistan and Mongolia and even a belly dancing costume. Thankfully, there are very few photos except in the kimonos.
I also have quiet a few goth items, mostly of the medieval variety. And tons of ethnic jewelry.
The only wedding fantasy I've ever had is for a Lakoto white elk skin wedding dress. Which is certainly OTT. :-)
